A volunteer Board of Directors (BOD) administers The Children’s Kiva, Inc., aka Children’s House, as a Colorado not-for-profit corporation. Board meetings are open to all parents of currently enrolled students, staff, and community members. Board meetings are held monthly, generally on the 2nd or 3rd Monday; work session at 5 pm and regular meeting at 5:30 pm at Children’s House Campus, 1204 E. Empire. The primary responsibilities of the BOD are fiscal and budgetary oversight, supervision of the Executive Director, fundraising, and strategic planning for the organization.
